Joanne Reen’s work reflects the human experience within the landscape.“I am in the landscape and the landscape is in me.”The artist’s recent body of work incorporates water and its reflective qualities. Influenced by a trip to Giverny, France, her stylistic approach of reductive imagery includes expressive, gestural brushwork and the symbolic use of blues and greens.
