"I have enjoyed these rocks up close while in the water. They are at a spot called A-Frame, a fantastic diving location. As I painted this scene, I could see freedivers' fins kicking up into the air, as divers explored the magical world below. I had one of my most thrilling diving experiences here - three octopuses all within 1 metre of each other. I couldn't believe it was real, and I kept diving back down to check there truly were three different octopuses and not one I kept seeing in different spots. To be fair, I did keep losing one of the three from view... I also saw a massive stingray on another day that gave me a huge fright... "
