    "My friend Alice Toich and I have a standing date on Wednesdays to paint. Often our friend Anja Botes joins us. On this day, Alice and I went to our favourite spot for cloudy, overcast days - Bakoven. Strangely, I didn't know this beach while growing up. I say strangely because I went to Camps Bay High School for 3 years. How I never visited this beach I will never know. That said, I'm making up for lost time - I head to Bakoven a LOT. These rocks on Beta Beach are unique, wonderful, and full of colour, especially on an overcast day."
