Artist Description
Artists of today are unbelievably fortunate in that we have had so many great pioneers before to open so many doors. This series of works is a playful way of paying homage to a few of greats who have gone before. All these artists' works have been embraced and celebrated in the art community and popular culture. I love the manner artworks can creep beyond the walls of galleries and collectors.
Andy Warhol, a highly skilled artist and graphic designer who’s work still shapes the design and art world. This work would not exist without the infamous Maurizio Cattelan who’s banana and duct tape work managed to create many a debate in this world of social media noise. It may not be considered art by many but it created spirited debate and conversation.
