Artist Notes:
"The paintings - 'Rush I', 'Rush II' and 'Midnight on the river' - seemed to flow from 'memory'. Every time the sea comes pouring in over a rock or swirling past in a river, there is a consistency to the motion and yet something that is not quite the same. Where the sea scours, encroaches, pulls and flows on the land, nothing is fixed or completely solid. My practice is a way of finding my equilibrium within a world of such uncertainty and seemingly rapid change."
