    This painting reflects a storm I witnessed at a dam near Westminster - about 30km outside Ladybrand - called Newbury dam.
    
    Suspirium is a continuation of my waveWORKS body of paintings in which I re-assess the traditional visual representations of the physical world, utilizing several artistic traditions such as portraiture and still life to express a new consciousness and awareness of the fundamental nature of all matter: energy.
