Artist Description
This artwork requires framing behind glass.
Shui-Lyn develops her images through multiple stages: using a printing press, washes, layers of inks, paints and glazes; as well as cut outs and stamps. This ebb and flow inherent in the application and removal of paint; the addition and subtraction of water; the cutting out of a figure from a background and re-inserting it into another background - echo with what is both present and missing.
