Where I live on the South peninsula of the Western Cape, I feel I am witness to rapidly changing ecosystems. It’s an environment that is normally in constant flux, but despite being considered relatively wild and pristine, it is fragile and threatened.
This monotype is an emotional response to, and experience of, a place rather than a direct topographical rendering of the environment around me.
