This series of artworks celebrate the strength and intricate beauty of fynbos and succulents, delicately sculpted to honour their resilience. Emerging from some of the harshest conditions, windswept landscapes, poor soils, and fire-prone terrain - these plants not only endure but flourish through remarkable perseverance. In much the same way, the human spirit is shaped and strengthened by adversity, finding ways to grow through challenges and uncertainty. Each piece is a tribute to survival, a meditation on endurance - a reminder that resilience can give rise to extraordinary transformations.
