Mandy Conidaris
artist,curator, visual art consultant, art writer, creative mentor, and visual arts educatorMandy Conidaris is a co-founder and the sole director of
outoftheCUBE, an online visual arts platform established in 2013 to offer an alternative and credible exhibiting space for artists and printmaking studios. Mandy worked for five years in the Visual Arts Department at UNISA (Pretoria), and her experiences there led directly to the formation of outoftheCUBE.
An important focus of the site is to explore the creative practices of the exhibiting artists and find out what makes them tick. She researches and writes most of the content for outoftheCUBE. Via outoftheCUBE, Mandy has curated print pop-ups and participated in several art fairs.
Her specific area of interest lies in South African prints, and she has 25 years of experience as an independent art consultant specialising in fine art prints.
