Two works by each of the ten shortlisted artists were on show, as the Judges deliberated on the overall winner. The Finalists were: Jo Roets; Janna Prinsloo; Anna-Carien Goosen; Nadine Hansen; Lezanne Kotze; Adele Van Heerden; Anina Deetlefs; Lebogang Mabusela; Tina Teles; Chloe Obermeyer.
The opening event was held on 6 September 2018 in Cape Town CBD and coincided with First Thursdays in the city centre. It was a buzzing and vibrant event, with lots of excitement in the air and a general feeling of warmth and support as the 10 female finalists met each other for the first time and shared their art.
