Artist Description

Need to know: this final edition is printed to order.

This artwork is inspired by the power of the geomorphic forces of the earth - the landforms and the processes that shape them, such as shifting tectonic plates and lava or pressure under the earth's core that creates mountains by forcefully pushing land upwards. Water also plays a huge role in the formation of caves, canyons and other geographical structures, and in creating sedimentary stones. Even though the rocks and the mountains look immovable and still to us today, they have been created and sculpted over eons through breaking, magnetic pulling, splintering, earthquakes and forces so powerful we usually fear it rather than admiring it.
